TETHER
identity
branding
Tether, created by Tamia Stinson, is a new community and resource for Cincinnati image-makers—the photographers, wardrobe stylists, makeup artists, hairstylists, models, creative directors, and fashion designers. Tether’s mission is to make it easier for local image-makers to connect and to be able to gain more exposure and opportunities. Tether consists of three components: the sourcebook, a digital directory, and events. A preview of the sourcebook, digital directory, and events are below.
I operated as the brand designer of Tether and the Design Director of the Tether sourcebook. In collaboration with Tamia, we wanted Tether to feel playful, professional, approachable, and progressive with an urban twist.
To invoke these themes, “the rope” was created as a responsive component of the identity that supports the brand system. It represents a connected community of image-makers—but is also an artistic mark of expression.
